Not every special location is freely accessible. That is precisely why we look for places where you wouldn’t normally be able to take photographs. Faces & Spaces is an exclusively Hanzebeeld concept which brings together photographers, models and unique locations for a exclusive photography experience.
Exclusive, because ‘Faces & Spaces‘is small-scale, taking place at locations that are normally inaccessible or barely accessible to photographers.’
Whether it’s an old factory, a listed building, a historic estate or any other setting full of character: every Faces & Spaces event centres on a unique venue brimming with photography, creativity and experience. And the ingredients are always the same: photogenic models at photogenic and unique locations..

Who is it for?
The Faces & Spaces series is aimed at photographers (both amateur and professional) who would like to gain experience in portrait, fashion and fine-art photography at locations that are not normally easily accessible.
The Faces & Spaces are no workshops but a unique opportunity for you to photograph a model at a unique location. Something that’s usually very difficult to do.
We’ll sort out the models and the location; you take the photos.
Places with a story to tell
We deliberately choose not to use standard photo studios.
Every Faces & Places event takes place at a a venue with character:
- industrial heritage
- historic buildings
- estates
- or other special places that add to the atmosphere of the photos
It is precisely the combination of model, lighting and location that makes every edition of Faces & Places unique.

As well as open enrolment days, Hanzebeeld also organises Faces & Spaces custom made. As:
