In addition to being a hospitable country, it has breathtaking landscapes, the oldest churches on earth and delicious food.

With how many people?
We are experienced in travelling with small groups (approx. 5 people). This gives us plenty of time, allows us to be flexible and enables us to share more and better with each other.
For who?
For anyone who enjoys photographing models at their own level and in their own way at urbex locations. The physical effort required is generally limited. The trip is therefore suitable for young and old, beginners and professionals alike.
When?
A custom trip wouldn't be a custom trip if everything wasn't negotiable. So also the dates. We recommend (because of snow) to travel from March to October.
Models
Hanzebeeld works with local models. They are best suited to the environment and live throughout the country. This allows us to limit the models' travel times to the various locations. It is possible to coordinate with the models and photographers in advance to make a plan.
Equipment
As far as we are concerned, it is possible to bring your own equipment such as flash units, tripods, reflectors, etc. However, in consultation and at an additional cost, it is possible to use our equipment on this trip.
What does a day look like?
A day on your photography trip could look like this: After breakfast, we drive to the first urbex location of the day. This is usually a large urbex location where it is easy to photograph the location at your leisure. This is also where the model(s) will arrive. We have exclusive access to all locations, so there is no need for unnecessary tension. Each participant in the (small) group will have ample opportunity to photograph the model(s) and the location. Afterwards, we will have lunch together and drive past other urbex locations. Usually without a model, but customisation is also possible here. We will end the day at our hotel and enjoy a delicious local dinner. Would you like to visit cultural sites as well? No problem, we can easily fit this in.
What does it cost?
For tailor-made tours we do not work with fixed prices. We think it is important to set up and guide your ultimate trip in Armenia the way you want it. Please contact us via info@hanzebeeld.nl or the form below so we can take stock of your requirements together.
Included
A tailor-made trip includes accommodation, breakfast, lunch, dinner, hotel transfers, local transport, guidance, models and their travel expenses, and access to jointly visited locations.
Not included
The outward and return journey, snacks, tips, personal expenses, any entrance fees for locations not visited together, alcoholic refreshments, use of equipment (flash lights, tripods, etc.), travel and cancellation insurance (compulsory), GGTO guarantee fund contribution €9.00, booking fee €19.
Flying to Armenia
It is possible to fly directly or with one stopover to Yerevan, Armenia. For example, from Dortmund, Brussels (Zaventem) or Amsterdam. We are happy to help you find the best flight.
Would you like to stay longer?
You may wish to combine your trip with a visit to other places in Armenia or Georgia. We know both countries very well and are happy to assist you with tips, addresses, etc.
Armenian guide
Hanzebeeld works together with Centraltour, the company of Nvard Melkonyan. She will be with our company throughout the trip, as will Hanseatic sculpture owner Wim Robbertsen. There will be plenty of personal guidance, if required. Nvard speaks good English, Russian and Farsi.
Experienced guide
Nvard is a highly experienced guide with an extensive network throughout Armenia. She is a walking encyclopaedia and knows a lot about the background of what you see, from history to culture to geography and politics. She has extensive experience in guiding groups of up to 25 people.
